What is the bus licence class?

The bus license class was regulated with the new traffic law enacted on 01.01.2016. According to the old system, when you got a class E license, you could drive all vehicles except trucks, buses, cars, etc. With the new regulation, the bus license was named as class D. In addition, unlike before, you need to have a class B license as a prerequisite to get a class D bus license. You cannot apply for a class D license without a class B license.

In the new system, the bus license class is called class D, and the minibus license is called class D1. If you do not have any age problems, we recommend that you get a class D license. When you get a class D license, you will be entitled to use all types of buses.
